Say It Ain't So Hanoi Jane

I just can't imagine Jane Fonda having regrets about sitting in a North Vietnam gun turret and pretending to shoot down U.S. pilots. Why would she have any regrets over that episode? I have a hunch that maybe she finally got a clue. In her new tell all memoir that she is pimping she also tells of her adventurous sex life with her former French husband. She tells of herself having to get other women to join her in bed with her husband because "it was the thing to do in the sixties". Here is the article from yahoo

See Ya Johnny

I should have some sympathy for the passing of Johnie Cochran, but I just don't. He singlehandedly pushed back race relations in Los Angeles for a generation. He will forever be known for the being the lead attorney defending O.J Simpson. He could have been Pope or brought world peace and he would still be known as the guy who got O.J off. I will not miss the guy. I do think he was a brilliant attorney and if I was ever in a bind I would probably want someone like him representing me, but he crossed the line in the O.J case. Last I heard, "the Juice", was still searching for the real killer on golf courses down in the southern Florida region. Even his long time friend and co-counsel on the case, Robert Shapiro said that "not only did he play the race card, he dealt it from the bottom of the deck". Well said.

I'm Still Here

I've been experiencing computer challenges with my cable modem and that should be cleared up by this week hopefully because there are some good stories that I've missed commenting on with this down time. Right now I'm posting from my office.

See Ya Later Dan

Don't let the door hit you on the way out. I like how all his old colleagues are coming out of the woodwork to kick Dan while he's down. Fun stuff. Hey Walter, why didn't you say anything for the last 25 years? It's obvious you were not happy with the way you were pushed out of the anchor chair. It's all good though. CBS will just replace Dan with another not so subtle liberal probably. A zebra can't change its stripes afterall.

L.A Mayor Race....(Yawn)

It's a battle between democrats for who will rule over the City of Angeles. I just heard John Kobylt of KFI radio refer to current mayor Jim Hahn as "the local version of Gray Davis". Now that's funny and appropriate. Jim Hahn has done nothing during his tenure to improve angelenos' lives. Traffic has gotten worse, he's tried to raise taxes, crime is up, etc. I could go on and on. I basically have written L.A off as a total loss. The city is a complete mess. So do I care who wins the Mayors race? Not really. All the major candidates are basically Mexican socialists in disguise. They are all fighting to see who can give away more services to all the illegals that have flooded the city. Half of the kids can't read their diploma either, which is just stupifying. John & Ken have endorsed Bob Hertzberg. It may or may not help him to the almost certain runoff election. Hertzberg is the former Speaker of the California State Assembly. He is on record as supporting drivers licenses for illegals and for illegals using Matricular Consular cards as IDs. Yeah, he's a real beauty. Antonio Villaragosa is a complete socialist. If he wins, just get ready for the biggest migration north since, since, well I don't know, but it will be huge. I'm out

Arnold's Reform Plan For California

I just got back from an Arnold rally at the Red Robin restaurant in Santa Ana. It was amazing. There were hundreds of Arnold supporters out there cheering for him and shaking his hand. I was one of them. You also had the usual suspects out there protesting (i.e union thugs). Once again, Arnold is going around the legislature and directly to the people to get his reform agenda through. I signed all the petetions for the six different inititive items that will be voted on this fall. Go Arnold Go!!!!
