John Duong Fundraiser Tonight
We had a big fundraiser tonight for John Duong's campaign for Mayor of Irvine at Councilman Steven Choi's house. John has been like the energizer bunny ever since he decided to run two months ago. He's out walking precincts and raising money all day long. He's not re-inventing the wheel. He's doing exactly the things he needs to do to win per the Leadership Institute playbook. The job of a candidate is to raise money and meet voters.
So tonight at Dr. Choi's house, we had a lot of local, state, and federal Republican elected officials lending their name and support to John's campaign. Let's see how many people I can remember that were there. We had Congressman Ed Royce and Dana Rohrabacher, Assemblyman Chuck DeVore, Past state GOP President Shawn Steel and his wife Michele Steel(who I might add is going to be our next representative to the State Board of Equalization), Council candidate Bill Mavity, and a host of other people all there to lend financial support to John Duong. We're now counting the days now until we can hang a sign outside City Hall that says "Under New Management".

No Congressman Campbell was not there. I'm sure he had other engagements or something. He has endorsed John Duong though.
The first commenter is asinine. I think I might disable anonymous comments if it keeps up.
