Larry Agran & Cronies To The OC Grand Jury....Go To Hell!

It's very clear now that Larry Agran and his puppets Beth Krom and Sukkee Kang have no need for oversight or the OC Grand Jury. Last night in a what's come to be a routine 3 to 2 vote, the Irvine City Council told the OC Grand Jury to go pound sand. Once again it's Larry's way or the highway, ethics or breaking laws not withstanding. I'm sure the Grand Jury is going to be real happy to hear what happened last night.

Memo to Grand Jury: Larry still has not gotten the message. It's time to turn up the heat. Maybe an indictment for corruption would change Larry's mind. Dictators hate it when their authority is challenged.

The rest of us in Irvine recognize the Grand Jury report for what it really is.

A politically driven document by a political body to smear those they don't like.

The County has done an outstanding job of ignoring the Grand Jury on any number of issues for some time. Namely jail overcrowding.

This is nothing new. And sane people recognize and remember just how interested the County was in ramming an airport into our backyard. And that is why the average Irvine resident gives the Grand Jury all the credibility it deserves......Zilch.

Allen -- I have to question whether you read this Grand Jury report. It recommends that the Board of Supervisors (the same gang who wanted an airport) take some control back from the city and admonished the BOS for not wanting to take legal action against the city. Oh, and there on page 5 is a simple one sentence gem: Irvine owns the land.

There was NO mention of how the park would be managed in Measure W and NO mention on what the oversight would be, so the Grand Jury's findings are not reflective of the spirit of Measure W whatsoever. Measure W was a choice: a park or an airport.

You're charging a sitting councilman with breaking laws; care to be more specific because there's is no there, there. Larry has been investigated more than any other public official in Irvine and I have to believe if there was something illegal he would have been busted by now.

Memo to Irvine voters: a vote for Team Irvine is a vote to turn over control of the Park to the County.
