Illegal Aliens & The Green Party

This news bit is hilarious. The Democrats believe illegal aliens should be able to vote in local, state & national elections, but most won't come right out and admit it save for maybe people like Mayor Reconquista of LA, Gil Cedillo, etc. The Green Party in California however is right out in the open about this. They want to give illegal immigrants the right to vote in local elections if they can prove they live in a local jurisdiction. The state party approved a resolution supporting the right to vote -- for noncitizens -- last weekend. Here's a quote from one of their spokeholes...

"All local decisions have a direct impact on people's lives, and the Green Party feels that if you're impacted by those decisions and you're a working resident, you should be able to vote on those," said Pat Driscoll, a Green Party spokesman.

I love their logic. So I should be able to sneak into any country, take up residence there and then have the right to vote anywhere I want.

Allen -- The Democrats do not believe this. They believe in immigration reform tomake it easier for people to immigrate here easier and work legally to pay their fair share of taxes. Driving the move to cheap illegal labor..big business, usually represented by Republicans. I once asked a Republican of mine what the inscription on the Statute of Liberty read, and her response was, "it's from France; who cares?"

Remember think globally act locally? It is funny that the greens want illegals to vote but they don't want legals votes to count when it comes to restricting illegal immigration. as if it does not impact us locally.
