Turnout Sample From My Precinct

I just returned from my precinct which coincidentely is John Campbell's precinct. Out of roughly 1800 total registered voters in the precinct, 181 had voted already. That's way better than I expected for this election because according to the OC Register earlier today, over 14% of voters had already voted by absentee. This is projecting for about an over 25% turnout which is better than the primary. We willl see in about 45 minutes how the absentees are.

Wow. Over one-third of the Republicans
thumbed their nose at the GOP and voted
for Gilchrist. This is the start of
    something big.

BTW. Have any registered Republicans in OC
received any mailings from the party lately?
I haven't received any of those surveys or
fundraising letters in a LONG time.

Yes Chaz, there's a lot of OC GOP hierarchy/bosses/establishment in shock right now. It's bitter pill for them to swallow when there #1 man was held to a whopping 44% and dropping. When Jim runs against Campbell again with $2 million in the bank ready to rock n roll with an awesome absentee ballot campaign like Campbell had today....look out. Say hello to Congressman Jim Gilchrist.
