Newt Gingrich Launches A Scud At Current GOP Nominees

It's been nice to take a little break from blogging the past week. I was going to continue on my little hiatus, but I saw this news item about Newt Gingrich on Drudge just now and I have a few comments. Newt went off on the GOP "pathetic bunch of pygmies" currently in the race for President. He said if none of them show they can beat Hillary in the polls by October, he would jump in the race to save the day. Uhh Newt, that isn't going to happen my friend. I loved you as Speaker and I think you're great with ideas, but you have just a wee bit to much baggage to run for President. I loved your crackback on Chris Matthews and the first GOP debate though.

Yes! That is some good smack Newt. You are not the man to take up the mantle though. He also raised an excellent point that the Democrat nominees have outraised the GOP nominees by a huge margin of over $100 million. That right there should cause alarm bells across Republicanland.
