Joseph Ratzinger ........Habemus Papam

The next Pope of the Catholic church is Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger of Germany. He named himself, Benedict XVI. This selection is going to upset all the liberals because this new Pope is well known to hold very conservative views regarding church doctrine. He was John Paul II right hand man. It is not much of a surprise that he was elected. I and many others considered him the frontrunner from the beginning.
