Keep The Fillibuster

All the talk of "going nuclear" in the Senate is making me nervous. I'm all for moving Bush's judges through the Senate, but it would be a very pyrrhic victory. The democrats are going to shut the Senate down. Why not just leave the rules as is and make sure we get five more GOP senators next election cycle and then we won't have to worry about the rule. I sure as hell want the fillibuster still around the Senate because one day the GOP might be in the minority again(hopefully not) and they will need it to stop all the liberal judges that are sure to be nominated if someone like a Hillary gets elected President with a democrat Senate majority. I am definately not taking the party line on this issue. I understand that it is a huge issue for the base, but that's the way I feel. I don't see how you separate the judicial fillibuster from the legislative one. Most people are stupid and can't understand the difference between the two even though Sen. Frist and others have great arguments on why he wants to push the nuclear button.
