Defeat Is Sweet!
Amnesty is dead...again. I guess we won't "see ya at the bill signing" will we Mr. President. At the end, the voices of the American people were heard by our representatives. Now I can take myself off of DEFCON 1. Now is the time start enforcing all the immigration laws. Now is the time to complete the fence. Finally I can take a break from this subject for a little while hopefully. I feel like I've been on tactical alert for over two years on this subject.
There are a lot of winners and losers to name.
Winners: American people, rule of law, border security first advocates, Republican principles, talk radio/blogs/internet activism, Sens Jeff Sessions, Jim DeMint, David Vitter, John Cornyn, James Inhofe, Tom Coburn, and GOP Presidential candidates that were against amnesty(you know who you are).
Losers: George W Bush and the open border crowd, MSM, La Raza, MECHA, illegal aliens(please go home now), Sens John McCain(stick a fork in his Presidential aspirations...they're done), Ted Kennedy, Lindsay Gramnesty, Jon Kyl, Harry Reid, Arlen Specter, Mel Martinez(who also happens to be the Chairman of the RNC), Trent Lott, and Diane Feinstein.
These are just a few off the top of my head. If you can think of any more, please them in a comment below.

As a free spirit politician, an Americanist and Constitutionalist, I must say that you Republicans are pissing in your bed to stay warm.
Allan, this issue will keep coming back until you lose it!... Why?
Because, for example, you Republicans are against an abortion, so if there is about 20M illegals today, about 10M couples and reducing it to about 50% fertility yields about 5M new illegal Mexican children born nine month from now.
You are outnumbered!!!!
Since the Mexicans are like pigeons they will always return back home. If you would follow the Constitution and allow freedom of the movement there would be no immigration problem.
Example: There are Americans living in much worse condition than in Mexico back east in the Appalachia and there is no exodus. ... Why?
Because there is no border!
If you would build a border around the Appalachia they would try to escape from poverty by crossing it.
That is human nature!
As an observer, to see low intellect Rep/Dem plus other anti-constitutional activists to dig them selfs the grave is entertaining.
I must admit that I was rooting for this bill to fail just because it was written by idiots.
The open borders, no social services for visitors, surviving solely on earnings from the supply and demand labor is the only solution.
Anything else is a political circus which will be resolved by the forces of the nature in which case illegal Mexicans will win.

I should add Allan, that the immigration issue will be resolved by the same American moron mongoloids who are trying to resolve the issue of the drugs, crime and morality like prostitution.
We all know, that under a control of these American moron mongoloids the drugs, crime and prostitution are flourishing in USA, as far as I can recall -- which is January, 1969!
The illegal immigration will flourish too until we can remove the moron mongoloids from power posts they hold and replace them with the individuals who can normalize the laws to fit the human behavior.
I believe that Republicans are not equipped to do so!

Furthermore, I should add that for all practical reasons the political power in California is firmly in the hands of Mexican Socialists who are as corrupt as their Mexican homeland counterpart regardless of their legal status.
I do not understand who is voting for these Latino Socialists and why?
Where is so called white majority?
As the opposition to Latino Dems the Reps should concentrate on enlarging their membership base and drop their stupid religious and puritanic agenda to attract 21 century young generation.
Every year Reps make fools of themselves by pushing this anti abortion issue..... Stop it!
As is the Reps appear more like radical Islam with Bush as Jesus freak in charge.
I believe that thanks to Reps we have lost California to Latino Socialists for ever.
