Could Juan Zarate Be the Next Attorney General???

It's a longshot, but my former Mater Dei HS football teammate Juan Zarate has a shot at the top legal job in the country after Alberto Gonzales resigned today. He has a lot of things in his favor. The first thing is he's hispanic. Secondly, he's got a great pedigree... Magna Cum Laude Harvard Law, he's worked his way up the ladder at the DOJ first as a deputy in the financial crimes division rooting out terrorism financing and currently as Assistant Secretary for terrorist financing. It would be nice to personally know the AG of the United States. If GWB were smart, he'd nominate Juan ASAP. He is the energizer bunny when it comes to work.

I forgot to ask you Allan,

Does your beloved Ron Paul have also infatuation for Hispanics in oppose to Americans as does the idiot Bush for whom you have voted last time?

Since you do not like my negativeness here is the positive ending: plus, plus plus.

I missed you Stan. Where did you go to? Unlike our current President, Ron Paul wants all the immigration laws enforced. He's not infatuated with hyphenated Americans like Bush is. He's infatuated by the US Constitution.

If Mr. Zarate is an Open Borders guy, he might have a chance at the job.

Bush sure doesn't want some new person who will let Ramos & Campean go.

I'm not sure what Juan's stance is about illegal immigration. I'm sure to even have a chance to get nominated, Bush would make him bow down at the altar of open borders. I still hope he gets the nomination.

Notwithstanding your stated prior Juan's qualifications... Why??

Because we can't expect Bush to nominate someone who will actually defend the Constitution, only himself. I want to have a friend in a very high place to, LOL.

I take latter!... at least you are honest, Allan.

Just make sure that you do not embarrass him by acting like Senator Larry Craig, LOL.

So Allan, even if the guy is an open borders type you want him in office so that you have a friend in a high place. It sounds like you care more about something you might gain personally than issues. Since you spend most of your comments criticizing republicans, when are you going to admit that you were wrong in deciding to vote for republicans in the past. John Kerry is saying he told you so!

Just because I criticize Republicans doesn't mean I'm going to start voting for Democrats. How do you make that leap? Elected officials in my party need the heat right now. They've strayed way to far off the reservation.

I was being facetious about my buddy Juan. I hope he is anti illegal immigration. He probably is not going to get the nod anyway for Attorney General.

It's way better than being one of those sissy boys from Servite, LOL. Oh wait sorry, you went to that all boys school didn't you Matt? I think we need to have our own "meetup" at this years game. It's at the Big A this year like it was last year.
