State Senator Tom Harman To Visit The Bartlett Casa
I'm happy to announce that Lynn and I will be hosting a coffee for State Senator Tom Harman this Thursday. Holding a coffee event is kinda old school in today's political age. It's a good chance for some of our neighbors to tell the Senator what's on their mind these days. It's also a good way for the Senator to connect with his constituents on a personal level. Another good reason to stop by is that Lynn is making one of her world famous german chocolate layer cakes. If anyone who reads my blog is interested in coming, please shoot me an email at gab200176@yahoo.com and I'll give you more details.

I would suggest you invite your planning commissioner Mr. Adam Probulsky to attend. I sure Sen Harmon would be pleased to see him there.

In the immortal words of the best President of the past century, Ronald Reagan...."there you go again Phil". Always stiring the pot. If Adam would like to stop by, he can email or call me. I don't know what Adam has against the Senator because I haven't spoken to him about it. I just read his columns/posts in FR & OC Blog. He always seems to be slamming the Senator in them.

Allan,
Thursday is my daughters open house night at her elementary school. Hence, I will not be able to make your "coffee" with Senator Hartman. Can you ask him a question for me? Ask the senator why he did not stand up to oppose SB 777. SB 777 passed the senate pretty much along party lines. There was absolutely no opposition from any republican senator. When the speaker called for open discussion, there was none. Therefore, the speaker called for a roll call vote. After the vote, the speaker ask if there was any opposition to the vote. Again, no republican senator spoke out. The bill passed. You will not hear about this bill on the news nor will Aronld hear about it because the was no controversial fight by anybody. SB 777 is a bill to force our children to learn about transexuality, bisexuality and homosexuality. Our children in public primary schools. Why would any person in their right mind not stand up and oppose the bill? I voted for this turkey and he was probably day dreaming during the roll call. Allan, ask him why he did not stand up in opposition. It would not have changed the outcome, but somebody would have noticed. Ask him, Allan, ask him.

Allan,
Ok, your man, Tom Harmon might have bought some time with me. According to the California State Senate website, Harmon was either absent or abstained from voting on SB 777. Still, he and Ackerman should speak out against it. No noice is good noise for the other side. How do you propose we get Arnold to veto the bill?

I'll make mention of it tonight at our coffee Ron.
